Always wrong from a heartbreaking 51-55 defeat at Ateneo last Sunday, head coach Leo Austria Adamson said good defense just did for them that the Falcons finally broke into the win column with expense of a team that is imagined to make it to the playoffs.
"We are forced to commit many turnovers and we were able to control the offensive glass," said Austria.

MANILA, Philippines – After a miserable debut, Kiefer Ravena redeemed himself with a phenomenal first half performance to lead the Ateneo Blue Eagles to an 82-71 win over arch-rival De La Salle Green Archers, their second in as many starts in the UAAP Season 74 men's basketball at the Araneta Coliseum today.
Ravena impressed the 15,491-strong Big Dome crowd with 22 points in the first half, scoring the game’s first six points. The Eagles went on to lead by as much as 19, and Ravena's explosion proved to be enough to fend off the spirited rally the Archers in the second half.
