Dutch tourist, Mary Anne Goossens, who disappeared 18 days ago in the town Nerja southern Spain, was rescued Wednesday by a well, she fell while walking in the mountains.

Three hikers were walking along the river Chillar discovered Goossens 48 and informed the emergency services authorities.

After being removed from the well, the woman was placed on board a police helicopter and taken to hospital Axarquia, paramedics told Efe.

Hikers found her discarded food and warm clothes down to her in the well before they leave to go find help.
