Budget airline easyJet said Malaga in Spain is the favorite destination for British holidaymakers this summer.

Spanish holidays have become more popular with the British, the organization said Abta travel bookings for the country are 11% higher this season.

Easyjet said Spanish destinations took three of the top five in the list of most popular holiday hotspots abroad for the British, in second place with Alicante and Barcelona in the fifth.

Palma and Faro in Portugal are also among the most popular destinations where holders of travel insurance are going on vacation this summer.

Some friends and I are going to Spain this summer for about 11days. They want to do 2 days in Seville, 4 days in Algeciras, overnight in Ceuta(possible day trip to Morocco), and then a few days in Malaga. From what I read there is nothing much in Algeciras, it's mostly a launching port for ferries. My friend said there are nice beaches in the area. Also what is there to do in Ceuta. Are there any other cities in the areas worth visiting? We will probably be renting a car.

I'd spend more days in Morocco. Ceuta is not Morocco and I don't...
